But today, we’re talking about their most popular mattress topper, which is meant to add extra thickness to your current bed, change up the firmness level, and or add a memory foam feel. Similar to their mattresses, we think the Linenspa Mattress Topper is very reasonably priced, and is ideal for anybody who fancies the feel of memory foam.

Topper Construction And Design
The topper from Linenspa is made of gel-infused memory foam and thousands of polyurethane gel beads that are meant to distribute heat to help maintain a cool and comfortable sleep temperature. Because memory foam has a tendency to retain body heat and sleep warm, the beads help you to sleep more temperature neutral. But remember, there are many factors play into how hot or cold you sleep at night, ranging from environmental factors to what type of sheets you use.
By the way, we feel the need to mention how the little blue beads tend to get everywhere. So pro tip, make sure you have a back up sheet to place on it while you’re washing your bedding.
Because this topper is essentially a thick slab of memory foam, it doesn’t have any method of attachment nor does it come with a cover, but we honestly don’t think it needs one. It does a pretty great job of sticking in place on top of your mattress since it’s a little heavier than other toppers.
Height And Sizes
The Gel Memory Foam topper is available in either 2” or 3” height varietal. Both come in a variety of sizes, including twin, twin XL, full, full XL, queen, king, and California king. Unfortunately, they don’t offer custom sizing as of right now, but you can always check back in the future to see if that has changed.
Just make sure you have deep sheets that can cover both your mattress and the topper, as it can add two to three extra inches of depth to your bed.
Linenspa Mattress Topper Feel
The Gel Memory Foam topper has a thick and soft memory foam feel. Upon laying down on the topper, you’ll find that you slowly sink into the material as it surrounds you in a light hug. This feeling is more intense with the 3” option, and slightly less intense with the 2” option.
Because of the topper’s prominent memory foam feel, it will change the feel of your bed to memory foam. If you have a bouncy innerspring mattress, it will no longer feel like that once you put this topper on it. If you currently have a mattress that you don’t find comfortable and you like memory foam, a topper is a great way to change up the feel of your bed.
If you’re an active combo sleeper who likes to switch positions throughout the night, just know that this topper can provide a resistance. Because it’s so thick and soft, it can sometimes be hard to move around and switch from your back to your side, etc.. It also might make it harder to leave your bed in general, since this memory foam molds to your body, creating a you-shaped cocoon on your mattress.
Linenspa Mattress Topper Review Firmness
We think that this topper will most likely make your mattress feel softer, especially if you get the 3” version. But think of this topper as cushioning. If you have an extra firm mattress, this topper will make it a tad bit softer, but won’t transform your bed into a soft mattress.
Though, if you have a plush mattress underneath, it will likely just make it feel softer. Just so you know, side sleepers tend to like softer beds more because they accommodate for their curves, while back sleepers and stomach sleepers need slightly firmer beds to support their spines and keep them from arching too much. As such, we don’t suggest this topper to back and stomach sleepers unless they’re over 250 lbs, or sleeping on a very firm bed.

Linenspa is one of the leading bed-in-a-box companies, at least when it comes to cheap mattresses and Amazon mattresses. Their toppers are in the same affordable category. Obviously, the 3” topper is a little more expensive than the 2” version, but if you want a soft bed that makes you feel like you’re getting a hug while you sleep, it’s worth the extra money. The foam is CertiPUR-US certified which essentially means, yes, it is safe to sleep on.
This memory foam topper is not machine washable. If you have any accidents or spills, just lightly dab with a mix of mild detergent and water, then let it air dry. Never use harsh chemicals on your foam topper, as they can possibly damage the foam.
Nope! You can use any mattress. But just know that if you have a mattress with cool-to-the-touch technology or lots of airflow, this topper might limit it.
It feels like traditional memory foam, but shouldn’t retain heat like a traditional memory foam topper thanks to its gel-infused design.
