Dreamfoam Hybrid – Previously called the Artic Dreams, this is a cooling hybrid mattress. The bed lands near the middle of the firmness scale and accommodates sleepers in all positions.
Dreamfoam Copper – A copper-graphite infused all-foam bed that is available in both medium and firm profiles. The copper infusion is designed to help draw heat away from your body.
Dreamfoam Latex – An affordable Talalay latex foam mattress that is available in multiple thickness and firmness options.

Dreamfoam Hybrid Review
Out of the four beds in this review, Dreamfoam Hyrbid Mattress is the one of the models we’d suggest to heavier individuals since it’s a hybrid mattress. In general, we think it’s an accommodating mattress with more of a neutral feel, and suits just about every kind of sleeper.
Design And Construction
The Dreamfoam Hybrid mattress construction is as follows:
- Base layer – Starting from the bottom, you have a 1″ high-density foam layer.
- Coil layer – Next you have a 6″ individually-wrapped coil layer.
- Transition layer – The center is made with a 2.5” layer of gel memory foam.
- Comfort layer – Rounding out the mattress is a thin, soft quilted-topper with a cooling panel to aid in temperature regulation.
Feel And Firmness Analysis
Although this Dreamfoam bed utilizes a 2.5” layer of memory foam near its surface, we think the Dreamfoam Hybrid mattress has more of a neutral-foam feel to it. All this means is that when you lay down on the mattress, you don’t feel as if the top layer is hugging or conforming to your body. This may or may not be a positive depending on what type of feel you prefer. It really varies by person. With all that in mind, our team found the bed to be extremely comfortable.
Moving on to firmness, we found the Dreamfoam Hybrid mattress to be about a medium on the firmness scale. The bed is supportive yet it’s also fairly soft. If you’re looking for an extra plush mattress or an incredibly firm bed, the Arctic Dreams is probably not the answer. However, if you want a bed that is sort of in-between, then it definitely fits the bill.
Keep in mind, firmness is subjective and largely depends upon your weight and body type. A lightweight sleeper will likely perceive the mattress to feel slightly firmer, while a heavier sleeper will perceive the mattress to feel a little softer.
DreamFoam Hybrid Dreams Price
As with all Dreamfoam beds, the Hybrid bed is priced very affordably. Queen size MSRPs come out to $799, respectively. However, after the usual Dreamfoam discount, the true price you’ll likely pay for a queen size drops down to around ~$599. Sleeper Type Analysis
Given the mattress finds a comfortable middle ground between comfort and support, we think the Dreamfoam Hyrbid mattress is a good option for all types of sleepers. Side sleepers receive a good amount of pressure relief from the memory foam and quilted topper, yet the mattress as a whole still provides enough support to accommodate back and stomach sleepers.
We also found it quite easy to move around on this hybrid mattress, making the bed a viable option for combination sleepers who rotate between positions frequently throughout the night.
Body Type Analysis
As we mentioned above, this is a hybrid mattress. This is great because it means people of all shapes and sizes will be able to find a model that works for them. It’s great for larger body types (~225+ pounds) who need a little more support from their mattress.

Dreamfoam Copper Review
As the name implies, the Dreamfoam Copper bed incorporates copper inside which is meant to attract your body heat and pull it away from your body, helping with the bed’s temperature regulation. If you love a plush memory foam feel, Dreamfoam Copper might be the ticket.
Copper Dreams Design And Construction
The Copper mattress from DreamFoam comes in two different models – 12” Firm and 13” Medium. Regardless of which model you choose, the beds are comprised of the same four foam layers (only the thickness of the foams vary depending on the model). Here is a quick look at the different layers, starting from the bottom.
- High-Density Support Foam – forms the foundation of the bed.
- Transition Foam – provides a gentle transition to the comfort layers.
- Memory Foam – provides deep pressure relief for sleepers.
- Copper-Graphite Infused Memory Foam – the true comfort layer of the mattress designed to draw heat away from your body.
The cover on the mattress also includes a smooth top weave designed to provide a cooling effect on the surface of the bed.
Dreamfoam Hybrid Feel And Firmness
Unlike the hybrid, the Dreamfoam Copper mattress has more of that prototypical memory foam feel to it. That means you’ll feel the top layers contour to the shape of your body to some degree. With that said, it is more of a responsive memory foam feel rather than a deep, dense feel like you get with the Nectar mattress.
In terms of firmness, we think the “Medium” model actually lands on the softer side of the scale. We rate it right around medium-soft. Same story with the “Firm” version. We think this model is a little softer than its title implies. We put it right around medium on the firmness scale.

Staying true to the brand, the Dreamfoam Copper mattress falls into the budget category of online beds. MSRPs range from around $599 (twin) to $1,369 (king). Again though, don’t pay too much attention to those prices since the bed is almost always on sale. The true price range is closer to ~$520 (twin) to ~$1,030 (king).
Sleeper Type Analysis
Given the Dreamfoam Copper mattress skews towards the softer end of the firmness scale, we feel this bed is best for side sleepers. The mattress has a satisfying, plush feel and provides ample pressure relief for your hips and shoulders when in the side sleeping position.
Back and stomach sleepers should opt for the Firm model, although we still wouldn’t say the bed is ideal for these types of sleepers. Generally speaking, folks who spend the vast majority of the night on their back or stomach prefer slightly firmer mattresses.
With that said, we do think the Firm Copper model is a viable option for combination sleepers since it’s more of a responsive memory foam feel.
Body Type Analysis
In our opinion, the Dreamfoam Copper mattress is best suited for small and medium size individuals. That’s based on two primary factors. First, the bed lands on the softer end of the scale, meaning heavy people will find it to be even softer. Second and more importantly, it’s an all-foam bed. In most cases, heavier folks are better off with hybrid beds that utilize coils for their support foundations.

Dreamfoam Latex Review
Folks who are more eco-conscious might enjoy the benefits of the natural Dreamfoam Latex Mattress which offers hypoallergenic and antimicrobial properties of natural latex, along with the comfortable feel of a quilted foam topper. It’s also offered in three firmness options including soft, which can be hard to come by when it comes to latex foam (in our experience, it tends to have a firm profile).
Design And Construction Of DreamFoam Latex Mattress
The Elements Latex mattress is made up of three layers that total 10” thick.
- Base layer – comprised of 6” high-density foam
- Transition layer – 3” of Oeko-Tex Class 1 Talalay latex foam
- Comfort layer – Lastly, rounding out the mattress is a 1” quilted topper made out of soft reflex foam
Before we move onto the next section, it’s important to note that Dreamfoam also offers a premium 12” model for an extra ~$100. This model is not only 2” thicker but also includes a zippered cover, allowing consumers to switch out the top layer for a softer or firmer feel.
Feel And Firmness Level
Although the mattress includes 3” of latex foam, the Dreamfoam Latex bed does not have a pure play latex foam feel. That’s likely due to the quilted foam topper that helps to balance out the feel of the latex. The result is a super comfortable, mixed-foam feel. The bed is responsive and soft, but it’s not quite as bouncy or spongy as most latex mattresses you’ll find online.
As far as firmness goes, the latex bed from Dreamfoam is available in three different profiles (Soft, Medium and Firm). For the most part, each firmness model does it match its title. In other words, we found the Medium model to be about a medium firmness, the Soft model to be about medium-soft and the Firm model to be about medium-firm.
Keep in mind, those firmness ratings are based on the 10” standard Elements Latex mattress. If you decide to upgrade to the 12” model, the respective firmness profile of each will feel a notch or two softer. For example, we rate the 12” Elements Latex Medium model somewhere between medium-soft to medium on the firmness scale (as opposed to a straight medium).
Price Summary
We probably sound like a broken record at this point, but the Latex mattress is also quite affordable, especially considering its construction. The majority of mattresses you’ll find online that use Talalay latex are between $1,000-$2,500. The Dreamfoam Latex mattress, on the other hand, ranges from around $599 for a twin to $1,369 for a king (MSRP). Sleeper Type Analysis
The Dreamfoam latex mattress is a good choice for all types of sleepers. We recommend primary side sleepers go with the Soft 10” model or Medium 12” model. These beds provide a good amount of comfort and relief for the pressure points of side sleepers.
When it comes to primary back and stomach sleepers, we recommend the Firm 10” model. This bed will be the firmest and likely most supportive model of the group. Lastly, if you tend to switch between positions during the night, we recommend the Medium 10” model or Firm 12” model as these beds strike the best balance between pressure relief and support.

Dreamfoam Essential Review
While the Dreamfoam Essential isn’t a chilly mattress like other cooling beds we’ve tested before, it does help regulate temperature and keep you from sleeping hot at night like other memory foam beds are known to do. It also offers a ton of height options, giving you the choice between durable, thick foam mattress or a more affordable, thin foam mattress.
Dreamfoam Essential Mattress Design And Construction
TheDreamfoam Essential mattress is available in five different height options – 6”, 8”, 10”, 12” and 14”. The 6”, 8” and 10” models are comprised of just two layers (high-density base foam and gel-swirl memory foam). The 12” and 14” models add an extra transition layer in the middle, which helps to make these beds feel a little softer.
Mattress Feel And Firmness
As we alluded to above, the firmness of theDreamfoam Essential mattress changes depending on the thickness you select. The 6” model is the firmest of the bunch, while the 14” is the softest of the group. With that said, we do think the beds tend to skew toward the firmer end of the spectrum. For example, we found the 10” model to be around medium-firm to firm on the scale.
Price OfDreamfoam Essential Mattress
TheDreamfoam Essential bed is priced even more affordably than the other Dreamfoam beds, which is hard to believe. MSRP for the standard 10” model ranges from $449 for a twin to $899 for a king. As with the other mattresses in the lineup, the Chill is usually on sale as well meaning the true price come checkout will be closer to $350-$750.
Regardless of whichDreamfoam Essential model you select, we found the beds to have a firm neutral-foam feel. By the term “neutral”, we just mean the bed doesn’t have a soft, conforming sensation like memory foam, nor does it have a bouncy, spongy feel like latex foam. Rather the feel of the Chill lands somewhere in-between the two.
Dreamfoam Essential Sleeper Types Analysis
Based on the firmness profiles of the variousDreamfoam Essential models, we think the bed is most ideal for back and stomach sleepers. The beds do a good job of keeping your spine in proper alignment, but there’s just not enough pressure relief on the 6”, 8”, 10” or 12” models in our opinion to make them ideal for side sleeping. If you do like the sound of the Chill mattress so far and you are a primary side sleeper, we recommend upgrading to the 14” model for maximum comfort.
Body Type Analysis
It’s the same story with the Dreamfoam Essential bed as it is for the Copper and Latex. Although the bed is a bit firmer than those other models, it’s still made entirely of foam layers making it best suited for small and average size people.
Who TheDreamfoam Essential Mattress Is Best For – The Chill Memory Foam mattress is most ideal for primary back and stomach sleepers seeking a budget-tier foam bed.
Are DreamFoam Beds Good For Couples?
Motion Isolation
For the most part, we didn’t notice any issues with the Dreamfoam beds in regards to motion isolation. Even the Latex bed performed pretty well, which is surprising given latex foam is known for being bouncier than memory foam or polyfoam.
Edge Support
All of the Dreamfoam mattresses with the exception of the Copper provide solid edge support. With the Copper mattress in particular, we felt the edge support was just average. It’s not bad, but we just thought it was better on the other beds. Still, we don’t envision couples having major issues with any of the Dreamfoam beds.
Temperature Regulation
In our opinion, all of the Dreamfoam beds sleep temperature neutral. This includes the Copper and Hybrid mattresses, which incorporate cooling materials. At the end of the day, there are just too many factors that affect sleeping temperature to say these particular beds will definitely sleep cool. We’re referring to factors such as room temperature, the types of sheets you use and what sort of clothes/pajamas you wear to bed.
