AmazonBasics Bed Shipping

AmazonBasics ships their mattresses to your home for free, compressed and rolled up in a box. Once you unpack it, it’s recommended that you give the bed around 72 hours to fully take shape before sleeping on it. White glove delivery is not available and it is up to you to donate or recycle your old mattress if you don’t want to keep it. Shipping is available to all 50 states. International shipping is available via Amazon Global. Contact Amazon if you have any questions regarding potential shipping charges to Alaska and Hawaii.

How To Return The AmazonBasics Mattress

AmazonBasics doesn’t offer a standard trial period for their mattresses. The company gives you 30 days to decide if you like the bed or not as part of their return policy. If you decide during that time that the mattress isn’t right for you, email or call Amazon’s customer service. They will advise you on what you need to do with the bed and issue a refund within 3-5 business days. However, in our experience, returning a bed bought on Amazon isn’t always cut and dry so it’s important you do your own research before buying.

AmazonBasics Mattress Warranty

AmazonBasics mattresses come with a 1-year limited warranty. This covers cracks and splits in the foam, sagging larger than 1”, and manufacturing defects in the mattress cover. Normal increase in softness over time and abuse to the bed from improper use are not covered. For comparison purposes, this is about nine years less than the average mattress-in-a-box warranty.

How Much Does An AmazonBasics Mattress Cost?

The MSRP for AmazonBasic mattresses is on the lower end of the online mattress industry. Pricing varies depending on the thickness option you choose. The 8” model ranges from $130 for a twin to $240 for a king. The 10” model ranges from $160 for a twin to $300 for a king. The 12” model ranges from $180 for a twin to $350 for a king. Here’s how pricing breaks down for the flagship 10″ model by size.

Where Are AmazonBasics Mattresses Made?

AmazonBasics mattresses are made in China by a third party manufacturer. However, it’s important to note that the foams within the bed are CertiPUR-US certified, meaning they met US standards and are free from any harmful chemicals or toxins.

AmazonBasics Dimensions and Size

The AmazonBasics mattresses only vary by 8”, 10”, and 12” height levels. The length and width dimensions are standard for the bedding industry. Keep in mind, the Amazon Basics mattress is not available in Twin XL or Cal King sizes (as of the date of this post).

  • Twin Mattress: 39” x 75”
  • Full Mattress: 54” x 75”
  • Queen Mattress: 60” x 80”
  • King Mattress: 76” x 80”

Where To Buy Or Try An AmazonBasics Mattress

AmazonBasics Mattress Foundation, Box Spring, and Protector

In addition to the AmazonBasics Memory Foam mattress, you can find compatible bases, frames, sheets, and other bedding accessories on Amazon.

AmazonBasics Mattress Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are popular sale days for the online mattress industry. Make sure you check out Amazon during that time because it’s likely you’ll save some money on a new AmazonBasics bed. There’s a good chance Amazon will offer $30-$50 off the Amazon Basics bed-in-a-box during the holiday season to keep up with the discounts offered by other companies.

AmazonBasics Mattress 4th of July Sale

The online mattress industry also offers discounts in the days leading up to and after Independence Day. Don’t forget to visit the Amazon website to see what kind of deals they are offering. Again, it wouldn’t surprise us if Amazon discounts MSRP pricing by about $25-$50 during this time. That would make the AmazonBasics mattresses among the cheapest beds you can buy online.

Buying This Mattress-In-A-Box On Amazon

The AmazonBasics mattress is an Amazon exclusive. An advantage to buying a new bed through the company is that they offer additional discounts throughout the year. Be sure to check out their annual Prime Day sale and their Deals of the Day page for daily sales. Amazon’s prices tend to fluctuate often, so it’s important to keep an eye on current prices. Do your research and read up on Amazon’s mattress policies because they may be different than what you’re used to with most bed-in-a-box mattresses.
