In this post, we’ll review everything you need to know about Nectar’s trial period, warranty, and company policies. We also cover how you can save money when purchasing the Nectar bed-in-a-box.
The Nectar is an 11” all-foam mattress-in-a-box that comes in around a medium to medium-firm on the firmness scale. It has a dense memory foam feel. Check out our full review here.
Nectar ships their mattresses compressed in a box to your home for free. We advise that you let your bed expand for up to 72 hours before you sleep on it. Shipping to the 48 contiguous United States is free. A shipping fee is applied to orders going to Alaska and Hawaii. International shipping is currently unavailable.
Nectar is backed with a hefty 365-day trial period. That far exceeds the online mattress industry standard by 200+ days. If you don’t like your bed during that time, give the company a call and they will remove your mattress for free. A full refund will be issued once the bed has been picked up. Amazon’s return policies can vary sometimes so do your research before buying through Amazon.
The Nectar mattresses are protected by what the company calls its Forever Warranty. Impressions greater than one and a half inches, the foam cracking, and any other defects are covered by the warranty. The warranty will not cover any normal softening of the foam or misuse of the mattress. In years 1-10, the company will replace the mattress no questions asked if defects are found. In years 10+, the company will either repair or replace the mattress depending on what the issue is (all transportation costs are waived).
The Nectar mattress priced affordably compared to the average bed-in-a-box.

The Nectar mattresses are available for purchase through the company’s website and Amazon. Unfortanely, there are no nationwide retailers that carry the mattress for you to try out the bed. However, that’s why they offer the 365 night risk-free trial period.
The holiday season is a popular time to get a new bed on sale. Nectar is likely to offer discounts and sales during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. They usually run the same offer ($125 off + 2 free pillows) throughout the year but there’s a chance they’ll up that around Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Independence Day is another time to save money on a new Nectar mattress. Online mattress companies will often offer discounts on the days before and after the holiday. However, again, Nectar usually runs the same promotion throughout the year but you can’t predict the future. Nectar is fairly aggressive when it comes to discounts so it wouldn’t shock us if they went even deeper on their normal discount around Independence Day.
Amazon will usually match the prices offered on the official Nectar website, but will offer discounts and sales throughout the year as well. Mark the annual Prime Day sale on your calendar because you may save money on a Nectar bed that day. Amazon’s policies and returns can vary by bed though so be sure to read up on that before purchasing.
